Learn about your phone's shift button

This post may not useful to who know about this.Do you know there is a shift button in your phone as a PC.Some phone there is a separate shift button in phone(example-6600,6630N70,N73 and etc).But there are not a seperate button for shift buton in some phones(example-5320Xpress Music, & etc).Do you know where is it?Here i tell you all about shift button & how to use it.


Mainly we use shift button to copy some letters or paragraph.In phones like 6600,N70,N73 there is a seperate button for shift buton.You can see a button with sign of a "Pencil".That is the shift buton for some phones.
In some phones like 5320,6120c there is no a "Pencil" button.Don't worry.This type phone's shift button is "#" button.Usually we use that button to turn on & off dictionary.
Now you know where is your phone's shift button .Now let us work with shift button.


*Go to "Messeging " & select "write new messege".
*Now type some letters of sentenses.
*Now press & hold your "shift" button go back using left arrow key in your phone.Don't unhold "Shift" button untill you go to start of your typed sentense.
Now you can see,your typed sentense is highlighted.
*Now again press & hold your shitf button.Now you will see "Copy" command will appear on the left bottom corner in your phone's display (Image-).
*Now press "Letf soft key" to "Copy" your highlighted text.
*If you unhold shift key after copying highted text,press & hold again shift button.Now "Paste" command will appear on the right bottom corner in your phone's display.Then press "Right soft key" to "paste" copied text.
That's all about copyin pasting.Now i tell you how this shift button help to your work.

1.When you surf internet or wap via your phone,sometimes you have to copy & paste a long url(link) to another web browser.So how you do that?It is very easy from using this shift button!You just have to to same thing.Just copy the link from shift button & paste it to another browser!


2.Imagine that you want to copy a paragraph in a text file(.txt") & want to send it as a SMS.How you do that?It is too easy.Do this.Imagine that text files name is "Read Me".
*Open "X-plore" or anyother system explorer in your phone.Here is use "X-plore" ok.
*Go to text file that you want to copy & just pust cursor in that text file (Image-).Dont open it.
*Now press "Menu" (in X-plore not menu button).Then select "File>New text file".Name it as "Read me" (Rename it to the text file's file name that you want ok).
Now the text file which want to copy is editable now.
*Now just copy your wanted paragraph like before we do(from shift button).
*Now paste it to a new empty messege & send it!

Reset Nokia Security Code

Don't you remember your phone's security or by mistake did you change it?Want to reset it?Here we go.There two methods for this work.Now im going to tell them.

1st method-This method is only for s60v2 phones.

*Download "Security code rester" & move it to your computer's any folder.
*Power off your phone & take out your memory card.
*Put your memory card in a Memory card Reader & connect it to your computer.
*Open memory card.Now move "Security code rester" to "System> ".
*Now take out your memory card from Memory card Reader.
*Put you memory card to your phone(Your phone must be power off before you put memory card to your phone).Now power on your phone
*Now you can see your phone security code has changed to 12345.
*Remove your memory card & take it bact to Memory card Reader.Now connect it to your computer.
*Explore memory card & go to this pathe "System> ".
*Now delete "Security code reseter".
That's all!Now put your memory card to your phone!


2nd method

*Install your phone's PC SUITE if you haven't yet.Then connect it via data cable.
*Now download & install "Nemesis Service Suite".While it installing select "USB Virtual Drive".After install it,open it.
*Click "Scan" button.
*Now click on "PHONE INFO".
*Click on "SCAN".
*Now click on "PERMENENT MEMORY TAB" in the right botton of the application.
*Click on "Read".
Wait till it read Permenet memory.After that you will get your pm to "D\Programme files\NNS\Backup\Pm\35**************
*Now go that pm file & open it via "NOTEPAD".
*Scroll up till Field 308 & 5th record.
Here is your reset code.Like this
5=31313131310000000000
*Now remove all "3" digits & you will get like this
5=111110000000000
Now your security code is 11111.That's all!
